Bridge Street United Church

Mitchell has been Musician and Music Director in the United Church since 2000. Prior to that he played in Anglican church services from the age of 14 before moving to Japan and England.

He plays organ, piano and a variety of percussion instruments, depending on the musical needs, and often extemporizes upon themes sung during the service as prelude or postlude. Mitchell is intent on having music be an integral part of the church experience and sees how it is essential in supporting worship services. Music can be powerful, meaningful addition.
